changes...
wow...long time, no update lol. so i've been going through a lot in the past few weeks. moved back to school, got a new room and roomate and all new suitemates and an entirely new living enviornment from last year. and, as expected, i love it for the most part. i love my new friends i've made on my hall, especially my suitemate matt he's pretty much becoming one of my favorite people. and i loooove the fact that i have AC in this blistering weather, even though the whole granville enviornment kinda sucks. i mean, dismal lighting, greasy agora food, generic and bland looking halls, not to mention constant noise...but whatever, it could be a lot worse. i've been doing a lot of thinking about my life lately. i used to pride myself on my strength. and my ability to not give a flying fuck what people thought. i still do to an extent. but in the past few weeks i've realized a few things. like i'm more vulnerable than i thought. i used to think i was pretty indestructable, and for the most part i am. i let shit roll off me like it's nothing. the only thing i'm not confident with, and i never have been, is guys. The guy I like is pretty much the only person that can hurt me. If you've talked to me recently, you know I've been having issues with a certain guy, and I've been pretty much devastated by the whole situation because nothing has gone the way I had intended. I don't know. In the past, I've never really had crushes on guys. That's changed. This guy...wow. I'll be honest, I haven't known him that well, but I've felt closer to him than any guy I've been with in the past. And he doesn't feel the same way for me. i've NEVER been in that situation before. Ok, granted, I'm still really naive when it comes to dating and guys, but I'm such a confident person that that's always gotten me by. NO ONE has ever effected me the way this kid has. I don't understand why though. He's not THAT great. I mean, yeah, he's incredibly physically attractive, and he's funny as hell, and i loooove spending time with him. Like, ok, I've pretty much accepted that we will never ever date, but I still want to be friends with him. The guys I've dated I've always been like "aw that sucks...whatever I'm over it". But him...i don't want to let it go. I mean, I've obviously got to let go of all my romantic feelings for him or whatever, but I still want him in my life. He's THAT great. I love it. And i know we're cool. like the fucking gwen stefani song. it's a good place. I've changed so much...I went from completely despairing about life, to building up all these walls around me yet still not having enough self-esteem to respect myself, to just being an arrogant bastard, and now i'm changing again and recognizing the fact that i can still be the same strong person i've been all along while accepting my weaknesses. Acknowledging my weaknesses will help me realize how to kill them and be even stronger. I dunno. I don't get it. I'm confident, I'm attractive, I'm fun, and I have a cool personality. Not to sound full of myself, but ID fucking date me for God's sake. I mean there are times I don't like myself, but I think everyone has moments like that. and for the most part i really do like myself. for real. i'm so far from where i was at this point last year, I wouldn't change all those shitty and hard times for anything in the world b/c that's what's made me this way. I deserve someone great. and amazing. and who actually cares about me. someone who doesn't just date me b/c he's desperate, and won't stop talking to me if it doesn't work out. i know i deserve it, and i'm confident that i'll find it eventually. someone one day will love me for being the adorably weird, slightly morbid, completely crazy kid that i am. ummm so this is pretty much the most ADD entry ever... hahaha...so allow me to introduce you to crazy cashier #1. for the record, there's like 32432414542 weird people at my job, including myself. anyway, some bitch comes through buying catfood, and crazy cashier #1 goes "oh mah GAWD, don't you jus luuuuv cats? i uesd to live in a house infested wif rodents, n mah cat wuz mah best frieeeend!!" the three people around her all stare. earlier, she got written up for being off by $20 on an audit. AND she tried to argue her way out of it in her crazy dellusional way. needless to say, she failed, miserably. then the schizophrenic man who was proposing marriage to his imaginary girlfriend came back today.
